Where I've been so far!
So far I have been all over the United States, some of my favorites is Washington, Oregon, NC, LA,Maine, MT, New Mexico. I have been to Ireland and Scotland, and they are both absolutely perfect. In Scotland we went to an island called IONA. When I got off the ferry I felt the change all around me. I think that Iona is one of the most spiritual places I have ever been. When we decided to go to Iona, I had no idea any of the history of the place, and I urge you not to look it up. I most definitely will not tell you anything about it. I want you all to just trust me and go there. The ocean is beautiful and there are so many different shells and pebbles it's amazing. I have never seen so many different types in just one handful. The Scotland Highlands are the same way. The heather and air smells so wonderful. The people there are just as friendly as in Ireland, you just have to get them to start talking, and then it's on. I heard so many great stories, and histories from everyone I met. Oban is a city there that we visited, which you will need to go to if you are planning on going to Iona, and it's not too bad. It wasn't one of my favorite places in the world, but it has it's beauty. Just be careful what you order to eat, chicken doesn't always mean chicken there. Pigeon is not my friend. The reason I started this blog is because I want to keep a journal of my travels. When I went to Scotland and Ireland I had a journal with me, and I only wrote in it a couple of times, I thought hey I have my camera if I need to relive my vacation. I mean I had over 3000 pictures to comemorate the trip. Well let me just tell you, one of the worst things that could happen to a person on vacation happened. When I got home I started sharing the pictures with my family, and someone,(I have no idea who), lost the camera! Mother F! now I wish I had written more about my travels. So, here is where I start. Right now I am in school, and will be graduating with my LVN in May of 2012, then I will be going to CSU for a degree in History with special focus on pre-columbian History and Asian Pacific Islanders. When I get done with my BA I want to join the Peace Corp. and go to Fiji, then come back and finish my Masters. I plan on several trips from now until then and I will be here to tell you all about them. Okay to tell myself, cuz' let's face it no one is really reading this yet. HEE HEE
